I installed Kazehakase from the repository. But it does'nt seem to remember any passwords. When I log on to a website (like this forum) nothing happens, I don't get prompted to save my password, nor does it show up in any file.
Is there some setting that I have missed?

Nope - it's meant to be a faster, lightweight browser; at the expense of things like remembering passwords or installing firefox/mozilla/etc extensions (Though you can quite happily use flash and java and there is a useful page on advert/image blocking and other tips here.)
So it might not be what you're looking for after all.

Kazehakase is almost everything I'm looking for except for password management.
In the preference dialog you also have an option to manage stored passwords. Where does this fit in if it doesn't have password management?

Unfortunately, some of the features in the prefs either aren't usable or fully implemented yet, (password management being one that has been broken for a while). It never bothered me enough when I used Kazehase that I had to type and remember passwords manually
You could always contact the creator or file a bug report, to see what plans they have for fixing password management.
