Hi there!
Been using Amarok for quite a long time now and I like it. But since the last time I Syu-ed, it hangs sometimes. Sometimes it crashes immediately and sometimes its working for hours without a problem. Being started from console, before it crashes, it gives following message:
*** glibc detected *** amarokapp: free(): invalid pointer: 0x0a080598 ***
======= Backtrace: =========
/lib/libc.so.6[0xb5c3ba44]
/lib/libc.so.6(cfree+0x9c)[0xb5c3d3cc]
/usr/lib/libxine.so.1[0xb425a5f7]
======= Memory map: ========
And then a list of many libraries, most of them being Amarok Plugins.
Anyone encountered similar problems before?
My first guess has been that it depends on the files I am trying to play, but most of them are mp3 anyway, and it crashes randomly on all of them. Perhaps its a bit sensitive with corrupted headers? But it worked fine on all of my songs before the last update.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Just recreate your database (rescan collection). If you were usine replaygain, just erase ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/scripts-data/streamdb.db. It happened to me since there was a db update yeaterday and now amarok is working well (as it was).
sin² x + cos² x = 1

This did the trick on one of my two machines...
The other one still won't work.
I keep having an eye on it, but seems strange to me.
Thanks anyway for the help :-)
