fglrx

hi im trying to install the catalyst drivers for hy ati radeon hd 2600 pro agp.
so i install catalyst threw pacman and that works and i do the

aticonfig ---inital

and reboot but when i start up again when i move a window like firefox across the screen it skips and moves slowly does anybody know how to fix this?

On my laptop with an ATI Mobility X600:

aticonfig ---inital used to left all old settings uncommented (in my case), so look at the xorg.conf and comment such. Maybe there is still radeon driver uncommented.

it still not working also i found out the direct rendering in not working and when i use

LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo > /dev/null

nothing happens

nothing should happen

I would try this advice posted above
