Hi,
My son got me interested in dual booting my laptop and I am having a great time installing programs and configuring my Arch build. I am traveling now and do not have the abilty to have my son help me.
I am trying to get my wireless working. I think I am just missing a key piece of information. I installed and verified that driver ipw3945 working as noted in the text below this. What is my next step to configure a wireless connection?
A refference page would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Phil

There's a wireless page in the wiki, should have everything you need. You could also have a look at the network profiles page.
You should also consider using iwl3945 instead of ipw3945 - it's more up to date, it's included in the kernel, and it will soon replace the ipw driver altogether.

For convenience, perhaps you should try a frontend for configuring your wireless network? If you are travelling, those programs could help you easily connect to hotspot-networks and the like more easy.
Also, have a look at the links below, they will most likely be of great aid.
Wikipage about wireless networking in general: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_Setup
Wikipage about network-manager, wich supports wireless configuration: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Network-manager
Wikipega about Wicd, wich is an alternative to network-manager: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wicd
