(Solved) ftp not recongnized by bash

Hello, i've recently started endevouring in the Arch path, and i was having problems accessing FTP sites because when i put in ftp <address>, the terminal tells me that ftp is not recognized bash command. did i miss something when i was setting up the system, or do i have to install something?

Welcome to the forums.

ftp is in the netkit-ftp package.

There is also lftp (way better than netkit-ftp imo) and ncftp.

After reading this thread and checking out lftp, I have to say it looks pretty nice. I'm glad you mentioned it Mr.Elendig.
