Hello there.! Kudos to Arch team for such a wonderful and FAST distro.!
Arch newbie here.I am using gdm as login manager and Xfce as DE.Thing is I get the following message when I input my username and password in gdm for Xfce session: [ ~/.xsession-errors file]
gdmflexiserver:3047): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(gdmflexiserver:3048): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Setup done, will execute: /usr/bin/ssh-agent -- startxfce4
/usr/bin/ssh-agent: error while loading shared libraries: libkrb5.so.22: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I tried pacman -S libkrb5 as said in the wiki but get a package not in sync db message. So, any help is welcome

You need to update your system completely (pacman -Syu).

You also need to set your locale in /etc/locale.gen. Just remove the "#" (comment character) in front of your locale in the file.

I had the same problem, but reinstalling openssh was enough, without time-consuming pacman -Su

Just as a heads up, Allan wrote a piece about dealing with problems arising from missing libraries in this month's newsletter. Worth a read to help out with future problems.
