boinc client broken after update [SOLVED]

Hi there.

Yesterday there was a new update for the boinc package available. After installing it, the boinc_client does not start anymore.

I found the following error message in /var/lib/boinc/stderrdae.txt :

SIGILL: illegal instruction
Stack trace (3 frames):
/usr/bin/boinc_client[0x80c0d9c]
[0xb7f5e400]
/usr/bin/boinc_client[0x80c4df5]

Exiting...

Has anybody else similar problems or any ideas how to fix this? If not I will file a bugreport.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
mfa

I just restarted the service and get the same output ...
Nice catch. Don't have time to fiddle around, go for the bugreport.
