Hi.
I just installed xdm. It starts ratpoison after I login.
The problem is that after ratpoison starts, there is a window of xdm that says "Console log for myhost", and as usual occupies the full screen because of ratpoison.
Is there any way I can stop that window from showing up ?
I am tired of manually killing that window.

I just commented out the three lines that follow the comment "The following three resources set up display :0 as the console" in /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config
That did the trick. No more annoying window.
