prelink under Arch

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody uses prelink with Arch succesfully? I know there is a package for it, but I found a few forum posts stating that it doesn't work too well with Arch because of some -fPic issue. What's the truth behind that?

Also, is there a way to make pacman do a prelink of the files it installs? That would seem a sensible thing to do...
