Good Afternoon all
For several days i try to solve my printing problem, but no success.
i notice that the 'foomatic-rip' in cups was not there so even i linked the aplication, but what i can at least is sometimes print an test page with cups.
It always begin to show 'foomatic-rip failed'
I already reinstall everything relationed but no success.
Please Help Me i don' t have an printer working.
My printer is HP Photosmart 7850, cups, hplip. foomatic, etc..

for hp printers i found i needed to install hplip as well as the foomatic stuff. otherwise the /usr/bin/foomatc-rip exists but fails.
ghostscript is necessary too, but it got installed as a dependency through something else.
