I just can't find the answer to this (google, awesome's wiki, awesome's IRC channel). Let's say I have the following layout:
11111111222
11111111222
11111111333
11111111333
11111111444
11111111444The "1"s represent the first window, etc. I can change the width of the windows by using mod4+(h or l or right mouse button) which drags the separator between window 1 and the others, but I just can't figure out how to change the relative height of the smaller windows, so that they might look like this:
11111111222
11111111333
11111111333
11111111333
11111111333
11111111444Think of the way that vim hangles tiles and how you can just drag the separators around to resize them as you like. How do I do that in awesome?
Thanks.
I don't think you can resize individual windows...
edit: Atleast I don't think you can. My understanding is that when you have a layout like that, you have the 'main' window, and all the other windows are secondary, and they're just.... there...

Thanks heleos. That's what I suspected but wanted to get confirmation. It's too bad... it would have been nice to have a playlist take 2/3 of a column for example.
