Konqueror failing to contact websites.

Hi !
I upgraded from KDE 3.5.6 to KDE 4.1 yesterday, so far so good but there is one minor problem. Konqueror can't visit web pages, when I try to visit a webpage i get this error :

Cannot Initiate the http Protocol
Technical Reason: Unable to Launch Process
Additional Information: Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_http'.

So far I have tried :
Reinstalling kdelibs.
Reinstalling kde-base.

But I am still faced with the same error, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Konqueror failing to contact websites.

I can confirm that with a fresh KDE 4.1 install.  Although I can usually get the page if I refresh once, and my homepage (google.com/ig) always comes up with that error the first time when I start konqueror.

On a barely related note, none of my input actions work.  Help for either problem would be awesome.

Re: Konqueror failing to contact websites.

I can confirm this too.

It doesn't work at all for me, no matter how many times I refresh.

Windows was made for looking at success from a distance through a wall of oversimplicity. Linux removes the wall, so you can just walk up to success and make it your own.
