httpd failing to start

On my server I just set up torrentflux but httpd is not playing nice:

~ # sudo /etc/rc.d/httpd restart
:: Stopping HTTP Daemon                                                                                                                                  [DONE]
:: Starting HTTP Daemon                                                                                                                                  [FAIL]
~ #

I followed the LAMP page on the wiki and my Listen port in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf is 1758, which is forwarded in my router control panel. I even have the ~/public_html/test.php done and it cannot be accessed.

However, my ktorrent web interface works just fine at port 8080, accessed from my desktop (do not know if this is related to this problem, just noting that it can be accessed). If more info is needed shoot, I don't know what could be wrong??

first off what do the logs say? /var/log

I found by running apachectl that it was line 164, the documents line in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, I had to edit it to point to an existing dir
