Using the unsupported AUR

Is there a way to have a local copy of the AUR (unsupported) (something equivalent to what give ABS, but for unsopported). I also see a package srcpack. Would it be possible to install unsupported package with just one comment like srcpack -S <package>. Could we use a script that automatically upgrade unsupported package when it is needed?

Re: Using the unsupported AUR

What you are looking for is yaourt - it's a CLI frontend for AUR, which is avaliable there or at archlinuxfr repo.

Re: Using the unsupported AUR

yaourt is not only for AUR. It can even work with the arch repos.. It is infact a super cool package manager with ability to even list the various packages that match your search. big_smile Read the list of all the features http://archlinux.fr/yaourt-en
