I've installed gnucash-2.2.5-1 and aqbanking-3.5.1-1 using pacman, but there isn't a menu either for online banking transactions or for the aqbanking setup wizard.
I've check that both aqbanking and gwenhywfar are installed in /usr/lib/... and everything seems ok.
Any ideas?

I assume you mean using ofx to import from your bank account information.
If that is the case then you just need to recompile gnucash with --enable-hbci and --enable-ofx. Then the menu will appear.
Also check out http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up … _GnuCash_2 for a description of how to use ofx.

I believe gnucash needs aqbanking support compiled in. If you add a feature request to the bug tracker, I can pull aqbanking into extra and compile gnucash with that support.

hy,
is there already a feature request? i didn`t find one. I really would like to use hbci/aqbanking with gnucash.
I can do a feature request (can i?). But as a noob i don`t want to mess things up (especially not the bug tracker).

I'll be happy to file a feature request. I just tried compiling gnucash from source on my own machine but couldn't get aqbanking to behave. Unfortunately, my experience with Arch linux is so minimal that I can't tell if gnucash is in core, exra, or community. Help?

it does indeed!
so i took the PKGBUILD from abs and added
--enable-aqbankingto the ./configure line and afterwards it worked flawlessly. ![]()
