k3b package installation
Could you tell me why k3b is installed into /opt/kde while the PKGBUILD guide insists that this must be a rare exeption?
What is so exeptional in k3b? I see the other distributions where k3b is installed into the main tree.

It's because kde 3 was installed in /opt/kde. Currently only kdelibs3 and the packages that use it are being installed in /opt/kde. KDE 4 and the KDE4 apps are installed in /usr. When k3b will work will kde4, it will be moved to /usr.
