I just read the Archlinux Wiki for Package Making and Packaging standards and have to say that I am floored. Those pages responsively addressed every issue I faced while designing my own rolled-it-from-source-code build system. I document as I work, and what I was making was so close to the Arch way that reading the Wiki gave me dejavu. It was like reading a well edited version of my own work with all the TODOs filled in. Thank you Arch!

Yeah.. The arch wiki was once full of references to gentoo pages for most stuff.. It has grown in size. But yeah, it can use a little more love ![]()

If you see anywhere you think could use some additions, then go ahead and do it. The Arch wiki is as good as it is because of all the user contributions.
