installing grub on my root partition

I want to install grub onto my root partition when I try to install Arch. Do I make a change in the grub menu.lst or am I asked where I want to install grub at some point in the installation process?

Re: installing grub on my root partition

You should be asked where to install grub as part of the installation process.  The default is the MBR, but you can override that and place it in root instead.
