KDE task list

In GNOME there is a simple applet (one small icon placed on panel) that lets one select running program. It is similar to standard task bar but presents list of tasks after clicking the icon.

I wonder whether there is similar thing in KDE 4.1 since I would like to remove task bar from panel and use it's space for other applets.

Thank you for help in advance,
Robert

Re: KDE task list

I don't think there is one just yet. Maybe if someone in the KDE community decides it is useful it will be created at some point.

Re: KDE task list

How about using <alt><tab> until an applet comes along?

Re: KDE task list

@vacant: I am actually using Alt+Tab quite often but such applet would be very usefull in many situations.
