[Solved] how to run a a .jar file

i've installed the package 'jre' (which installs 'j2re')
In debian, i could then right click a *.jar file, and choose 'run with java', or something like that.
i don't have that option here.
any ideas?

Don't know what DE you're using.

You can run "java -jar file.jar" in the command line.
