Tomboy and pictures?

I am missing the option to paste pictures into my tomboy notes. I wondered if it would be possible to program an extension that would allow me to create links to notes showing a picture, or video.

I am nearing 300 notes that I have made from books and different sources on the web. Then I thought about it; how about making a sort of book out of my notes? The notes are a lot easier to edit then wikipedia, everybody could download and edit them, exactly how they want to. Studying could be made a lot more efficient.

In my books, there are tons of blah, blah, blah, where the true meaning is hidden somewhere beneath all the looong sentences constructed to look more precise or intellectual. This especially seems to be the case for subjects like e.g psychiatry, where there is a vast array of complicated words whose meaning is very vague, and partly based on assumptions, and not descriptive science. If me and a couple of mates could collaborate on notes, working on different chapters, I could save heaps of time.

For other subjects, say if you are an engineering student, or you wanna make notes on neurology, you simply need pics. It is too heavy to visualize a concept based on loong sentences alone, besides, you often need a confirmation that what you have understood, is actually correct. Is there an alternative already existing that offers all of this?
