Hello
I'm trying to build the gfxboot package from AUR (here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/grub-gfxboot/)
I check first the PKGBUILD and so on...All seems ok for me. But when I try to build the package I've got that error:
makepkg -s
==> Creating package grub-gfxboot 0.97-3 i686 (jeu. août 14 19:06:26 CEST 2008)
==> Checking dependencies...
==> Checking dependencies for compilation...
==> Installing missing dependencies...
Package gfxboot not here, group research...
Erreur: 'gfxboot': not in the repositories
==> ERREUR: Pacman n'a pas pu installer les dépendances manquantes.I could understand that gfxboot was not found by pacman as I was trying to install it...Does anyone could tell me how I could overcome that problem?
Thanks

gfxboot is a dependancy of grub-gfxboot but it is in the AUR. makepkg -s uses pacman to search for depencancies and pacman does not 'see' the AUR. You will need to build/install gfxboot first, then you can build grub-gfxboot. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=10264

Thanks a lot, it works fine.
I just need to change a little gfxboot to install it. I post the diff if someone needs it:

Best to add a comment on the AUR page so the maintainer will see it.
