Looking in the forums I realize that some people have had problems running VirtulBox after the latest kernel upgrade but in my case the problem is when I try to rebuild the driver. I read a suggestion about QT3, which I have so that seems not to be the source of the problem.
Now when I issue (as root) the command vbox_build_module I get this:
/opt/VirtualBox-1.5.4/src/r0drv/linux/alloc-r0drv-linux.c:253: error: implicit declaration of function 'change_page_attr'
make[2]: *** [/opt/VirtualBox-1.5.4/src/r0drv/linux/alloc-r0drv-linux.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [_module_/opt/VirtualBox-1.5.4/src] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.26-ARCH'
make: *** [vboxdrv] Error 2
It looks to me like some compilation error of some kind but I'm not sure...
Are there any upgrades for VirtualBox available for kernel26?

Is there a reason you are trying to run VirtualBox 1.5.4? Because the latest version is 1.6.4. I currently have VirtualBox 1.6.4 running on a 64 bit machine with the latest kernel. I'm using the virtualbox_bin package found in the archlinuxfr repo.

Well ... that the version I've been running for awhile without problems ... even through some kernel upgrades.
I'll try downloading the newer version (I take it is in AUR) see where this goes.
Thanks.
