kooka/xsane recognizes TV card as scanner dev?!

Hello all out there!

I'm unable to find a solution for xsane to find my hp psc 1510 (all in one) scanner dev.

sane-find-scanner says:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [HP], product=0x4c11 [PSC 1500 series]) at libusb:001:002

Xsane (and kooka also) finds my TV card, a Hauppauge, at /dev/video0:

Noname:BT878video(Hauppauge(bt878))

Didn't know, that my tv card is able to scan (thanx Hauppauge!). But nothing happend as I plugged the image direct in front of my CRT ?!

So what?
