OK... I was stupid... Well the documetation I was reading was unclear...
Anyway, I have now dissasembled and reasembled the DSDT.dat file with ASL... And guess what.... The Micosoft compiler is junk and mised some errors.... The Open Sorce intel compiler I used found and error and 12 wornings... I am going to play with it I'lll be back to tell you how it turns out....

I have also found 2 Errors with the ECDT.DAT.....
I have sent a email to Lenovo about the problem. It is there job to fix it..... They will probaly just tell me that they don't suport Linux....
I Also requested that they use the Open Sorce intel ASL insted of the Microsoft compiler.
I mentoned to them that our tread on the ubuntu forums has gotten 24,000 hits....

Well I am down to two warnings.... Runing on the mod DSDT.. Backlight stll a problem... I still have two errors in ECDT but I don't know how to fix thoughs problems. That table is a little to cryptic for me right now. If you know how to fix these problems let me know ![]()
