Strange all caps problem in all browsers

Hey guys,

I've got a weird issue with some webpages in Firefox/SeaMonkey/Epiphany and Opera. Basically some pages are rendered with text in all caps, such as Google search (except for the highlighted keywords in the results page). For the love of me I can't even think of what could cause this problem. Has anyone had this problem or even know how to fix it? It also effects Opera's file menu aswell, but as far as I can see these are the only apps with the issue.

Thanks in advance :-)

It also affected Openbox's menu as well. That went away for me, but the all-caps in browser still happens. Have you gotten a fix?

This is a really awkward problem o_o

*edit*

Hmm. It looks like the ms-fonts installer installed Arial Caps. Which replaces regular Arial too, for some reason. I was checking out Google, they predominantly use Arial, and I assume a lot of other sites do. I'll brb to test out if I can get regular looking pages by taking out Arial Caps in the ~/.fonts directory.

And it works.

Hmm. Check for Arial Caps and remove it? I'm pretty sure that's the only culprit.

Love, love is a verb. Love is a doing word.
