Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

Are there any really slim styles for kde4? I've been unable to find any that would please my eye, all of the themes seem to be centered on wasting extra pixels in every gap possible.

@Mountainjew

It's a very beautiful desktop! smile
Can you please tell me what's the name of that plasmoid on the top left corner of the screen, the one that is showing a cover album art and some music information?

Thanks

Thanks smile

It's not a plasmoid, it's a widget ported to linux by user eightmillion on the Ubuntu forums. Well actually it is a superkaramba widget but can be run as a plasmiod, but it's not as good as running it directly from superkaramba as plasma puts a border around it. You can get the script  Here and the skin Here. You have to have the zip file in the same directory as the script and make sure amrk.py is executable.

Oh and make sure you have sharutils and imagemagik installed.

tMXV0bw

Crystal Windeco, Cream plasmatheme, skulpture or qtcurve (in shot) kwin style.

P.S. and yes those are artefacts, caused by bad GFX.
