Safe to remove section about VESA driver?

I successfully configured xorg for my ATI video card (using ATI's drivers) and it works. So is okay to remove the section about vesa drivers or does it matter?

You can not use two drivers at a time, and I do not think that vesa can act as a fallback, so it is actually safe to comment it out. However I would not remove it: when the proprietary drivers stop occasionally working, you could resort to uncommenting the vesa section in order to get a provisional X session.
