KDEmod won't start, pacman won't respond

I just rebooted, and KDEmod won't start. The error startkde returns is: "$DISPLAY is not set or cannot connect to the X server." startx works fine. Now, even odder. pacman doesn't work. I can do 'pacman --help', and 'man pacman', but anything else doesn't work. No error, nothing.

Using links to type this - please help! smile_

Re: KDEmod won't start, pacman won't respond

Updates. I set $DISPLAY, and things go further now. I see my error. When I try startkde, I now get errors about shared libraries being the wrong ELF version, ELFCLASS32. Specifically, libpng12.so.0. I am using x86_64 Arch.

So, I now know the problem is 32-bit libs that overwrote 64-bit ones. My plan is to find out pacman's error, fix it by copying the right libs from elsewhere, and then reinstall everything. Sound good? Unless someone has a quick way to list all 32-bit? Thanks very much big_smile
