Duplicate entry

I am a new arch linux user and i noticed something peculiar in the /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia folder. I don't know if it was done on purpose but there are two zone files in that folder with names 'Kolkata' and 'Calcutta' and truth is both the files refer to the same place. Calcutta is what it was called 3 years ago and kolkata is what it is called now but they both refer to the same place. !

Just thought I'd let the folks here know since its not in line with the Arch way wink.. I think!

I hope this forum is okay in which to post this topic. !

Re: Duplicate entry

Welcome to Arch. Even though we have some devs that hang out at the forums, this would probably get more attention if you post something to the bug tracker.

Re: Duplicate entry

I suspect that that may actually be hard links to each other.  Both "spellings" are probably kept upstream for backwards compatibility.
