VMware Installing Problem

I downloaded the vmware workstation and run the installation script and also its patch.
I controlled from wiki and also rerun the services additionally rerun the config.pl but nothing hapens. When i tried to start from console it said that

vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for this system. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:
/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl.

and when i tried to run the vmware-config.pl it said something like that;

Making sure services for VMware Workstation are stopped.

sh: /media/disk/etc/init.d/vmware: No such file or directory
sh: /media/disk/etc/init.d/vmware: No such file or directory
Unable to stop services for VMware Workstation

Execution aborted.

how can i fix it ? it is a little urgent.

thanks for your help

Re: VMware Installing Problem

Hello big_smile

Are you sure that you already have the 117d version and not 117 ?
