Hi,
Installed gnome last night and tried it out for a while and then I switched back to Openbox.
When I tried to pacman -R gnome it had like 3 packages that were depended on gnome. And those pacages were depended on other packages and so on. It took me like 15 mins to remove 30-40 packages manually.
Is there any smart switch for this? Didn't find any on the Wiki.

-s, --recursive remove dependencies also (that won't break packages)
(-ss includes explicitly installed dependencies too)
-c, --cascade remove packages and all packages that depend on themAll design goals must be phrased in such a way that it is hard to use them as slogans to justify stupidity.

More general advice - being a noob does not excuse you from reading and searching before asking questions.
