Sync application

Hi,
As a former Windows user (arch is the way now) I'm used to have all my documents synchronized to my server, for backup.
Vista, Office 2007 and Active Directory made that easy, all office documents were synced when I logged on and off at work.

What kind of applications or features are there in the linux world for this kind of "issue"?
Just a script perhaps?

Suggestions?

Re: Sync application

Look into rsync.  Google is also a good place to try to answer these types of questions

Re: Sync application

I use grsync, very usefull. You can have different configurations saved so that you don't need to reconfigure everytime.
