Right now I use amarok. I love gpodder but I did not know I could use in arch. Also there is Banshee but I am upset with them due to the fact that I can't transfer to my MP3 player.

Re: Which Podcatcher ? plz suggest

i'd recommend liferea or penguintv.
gpodder is ok, but supports only podcast feeds - so you need two apps, one for podcasts and one for plain rss.
penguintv is more an application like miro, though not so functional, but more light-weight.
i use liferea and i'm happy with it.

ps: and liferea has xulrunner intergration, that's really handy. you can directly read stuff in liferea no need to open browser, etc.

gpodder does support RSS feeds.  I haven't used it too long, so maybe that is a new feature.
