Problem with Amarok/Opera/Virtualbox appearance

I use a plain fluxbox session and only a few non-GTK apps, such as K3B, Amarok, Opera and Virtualbox. Thing is I have KDE 4 stuff installed, and I'm guessing these apps are still KDE 3.x, so in the new "systemsettings" control panel when I change the appearance of KDE (colours, etc.) these apps do not change, they look the same. (I used to use "kcontrol" just fine but can't any longer).

How can I change their look? I tried "qtconfig" but that does nothing. Also tried amarok 2 alpha but it didn't run well.

Thanks for any help folks smile

/opt/qt/bin/qtconfig is your friend.

It is what you make it. Even if you don't know what to make it.

Thanks Mimi, I can see in this qtconfig I can change the colour scheme and whatnot, however when I do File > Save it does not alter Amarok's appearance, even after restarting Amarok? Thanks for your help! smile

Re: Problem with Amarok/Opera/Virtualbox appearance

I have the same problem - it's really quite jarring having random 12pt font in amarok on a system where everything is 8 >_>

Yes, I've tried /opt/qt/bin/qtconfig, though it's entirely possible I'm doing it wrong. I'm using the full KDE4 desktop.

Any help would be much appreciated.
