[Solved]portmap, fam, hal, gdm modules not found, but gdm will start

I installed gnome (pacman -Sy gnome gnome-extra gdm), and it installed successfully. I added portmap, fam, hal and gdm to the modules list and restarted my PC. I got the "Fatal Modules not found" for portmap, fam, hal and gdm, but if I run gdm at the console, Gnome will startup. In the rc.conf file all the modules are on the same line.

I haven't lost my mind; I have a tape back-up somewhere.
