Internet Perfomance, I have to restart network always....

Hi Experts,

I have 1 Mb, normally my download speed is of 120 kb/s.

But sometimes it gets to 50 kb/s and I have to reset the network daemon to get it at 120 kb/s again or reassign the dhcpcd on eth0.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

If your link stays established, that's pretty much your system (network stack) can do for you. Theoretically, you shouldn't need to restart your netwoking to get better speed.

To further investigate, issue this command and look for dropped packets.

ip -s link

Don't look under "lo" network device as that's loopback, which we aren't interested in.
