Hi!
Someone knows a pop3 new email notifier that works in kde 4?
I have to check 1 email, and do not want to have open thunderbird (or something similar) just to do that...

I used gnubiff-gtk which is in community. It depends on ('libglade' 'openssl' 'popt').
Meanwhile I switched to checkgmail, since I use a gmail account.
By the way, gmail is also pop3. You just need to activate it on the settings tab of the gmail web interface.

thanks Mektub, I ll try gnubiff... I tried with kbiff, but I had depends issues as I use kde 4.1...
btw, I have gmail accounts, and using it as pop3... but this one is not a gmail account... thats why I am searching something more general...
edit: oh, gnubiff-gtk do not install gnome stuff, nice!

Start gnubiff with the '-n' option:
gnubiff -n
