I have a D945GCLF motherboard which uses the ALC662 chipset (both Intel's documentation and alsamixer says this). I plugged in headphones into the green slot and no sound comes out when I try to play a .wav file using aplay. The mixer levels are 100% and unmuted by default.
I have tried putting into /etc/modprobe.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=<x>
where <x> is all the names listed under http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Document … ration.txt but none of them work.
Any ideas? Has anyone had a D945GCLF produce sound?
