Hello all -
I'm currently using the latest version of the Catalyst drivers available in extra on a Radeon 9550. In the recent past (since probably 8.7.x) that both my games and my display will lag when the screen is being refreshed at a relatively high rate (when I'm moving quickly in game or scrolling quickly through documents or web pages). This lag seems to be caused by Xorg, which seemingly spikes to ~90% CPU usage and then dies off quickly. I'd like to know if this is a known issue and if there's anything I can do to remedy the situation. I've googled, but I can't seem to find anything related - except for some gaming posts that don't list any sort of resolvement.
