[solved]boot verry slow when LAN cable is not connected

During the boot process, arch always stops at 'starting network' for a long time if the LAN cable isn't connected.

In your daemons array, change network to @network. This will load you're network settings in the background and won't slow down the boot process while it waits for a network connection.
