Some problems with the 64bit cd

After the cd loaded all i see is grub's command line... (after it said "stage2...)

What version of Installation are you using ?
I just downloaded 2008.06 X64 Core installation and it works fine.
You should get Grub boot menu with Arch theme/background.

You need the x86_64 version, make sure that's the .iso you downloaded.  It sounds like there is some error with your disc.  Maybe try burning it again at minimum burn speed in raw mode?
