multimedia keys

Ive got the multimedia keys worcking using xbindkeys,

"rhythmbox-client --next"
    c:153

but now if rhythmbox isnt running, and i press one of the keys, rhythmbox starts up, I want the keys to controal the app (rhythmbox and VLC) when its running, but otherwise do nothing.

so use script (checking if these apps are running) to control them instead of just command
