k3b crashes system

I'm running kde4 and testing. When I try to start k3b the system crashes, if I use gnomebaker it works. Same thing if I run k3b from a knoppix dvd. Any ideas??

I would be interested in this thread as well. k3b locks up so bad I have to press the restart button :-P.

xcdroast and others works fine. This has been tested on several distros. I suppose we should go to the developers web site and see if there is any info there seeing as it happens on multiple distros for me.
