How to use custom smileys in Pidgin.

Hey everyone. I can't help but notice that there is a fancy new dialog in the pidgin tools menu called "Smiley" where you can, supposedly, set smiley images to specific shortcuts. Well, I can't seem to make this thing work for the life of me. Does anyone have any insight into how this works?

Re: How to use custom smileys in Pidgin.

Just click the add button, click the button next to smiley image and pick an image, and then type a "shortcut" in the box.

By shortcut it means the keyword to transform text to smiley.

For example, :) makes an image of the smile smiley, while (Z) makes the male icon. Just pick something that you will not type by accident that is easy to remember.
