[solved] on save, or database access program crashes

when ever i try to access any part of the hdd the program that i am useing will instantly crash (i.e. say i was going to save an image in FF, when i click "save inage as..." FF will instanly close) and it is happening with every GUI, cli still works (wget, pacman). so ya, what do you think?

have the same error output on using firefox 3.. will try the link mentioned above..
any file dialogue will crash ff3

regenerating locales and installing firefox-i18n didn't solve the problem
