Laptop frequently 'stuttering'

Recently, my laptop has started frequently 'stuttering'. mpd starts repeating, the mouse freezes, basically, nothing works. It only lasts for a second or so, and when it is done back to normal it 'jumps' to catch up (so, for example, I end up scrolling too far in Opera, or I type something 50 times). It's only started happening recently, and today it's been happening a lot. I'm not sure if it's related to anything I installed recently, so here's the last 25 lines of my pacman log:
