FN-F4 Keybinding for suspend

Hey all,

I almost have my t61 working perfectly in arch!  I just have one last problem that I can see...

When I push FN-F4 in Gnome, my laptop attempts to go to sleep, but just goes to the lock screen prompt.  When I type in pm-suspend as root, my laptop suspends correctly.  is there any way I can change the keybinding so that when I push FN-F4, it runs pm-suspend as root?

thanks!

Re: FN-F4 Keybinding for suspend

Try setting up acpid http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Acpid

This is working great on my R51.

EDIT: This might also be a good ressource http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_configure_acpid
