Hi all,
i am trying to install evtouch drivers for my touchscreen but there are issues with it.
my touchscreen:
ID 0eef:0001 D-WAV Scientific Co., Ltd eGalax TouchScreen
i was following this HowTo:
http://conan.de/touchscreen/evtouch.html
and when i get to executing the ./calibrate.sh from console i get:
(II) LoadModule: "evtouch"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//evtouch_drv.so
dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//evtouch_drv.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input//evtouch_drv.so
(II) UnloadModule: "evtouch"
(EE) Failed to load module "evtouch" (loader failed, 7)
so that forced me to try to compile it manually and use the generated evtouch_drv.so since it wouldn't be of different architecture (x64).
well, now the problem is that it wouldn't compile. It spits the following error when i run "$ make":
evtouch.c In function 'DeviceOn':
evtouch.c:495: error: invalid use of void expression
make[1]: *** [evtouch_)drv_la-evtouch.lo] Error 1
now, i would have said it was a bug in the code, but then it compiles just fine under gentoo, and the only patch applied to this package(under gentoo) is for the calibrate.sh.
I am at a loss here. Please help.
Thanx in advance.
It's nice to be in a peaceful place like this.
