TerminatorX wont scratch with mouse

Hey, I installed terminatorx from the repos and it won't scratch with my mouse on any music;

The TerminatorX FAQ page suggesting attempting to run 'dga' from the CLI, but I can't find it; Any help?

The XFree86-DGA extension is somehow borked in later Xorg releases. Xawtv for example has the same problem.
